This training will cover how to recognise the signs, symptoms and treatment of common Medical Emergencies as per the BNF and comprises of a practical element to engage the whole team.​

 

Training Objectives:​

• Review the procedures, equipment and therapeutic treatment of common medical

• emergencies

• Review the Recovery Position

• Assess patient using the Primary Survey (DRABC) and Secondary Survey (DE)

• Review the importance of accurate clinical records and the handover process
